9. What format do I use on my home computer to save my papers and so they will be compatible with Walters State computers?

We advise students  to save their papers in RTF or Office 97/2003 format. That way papers can be opened on school computers and instructors can open them when they are submitted as assignments.

In most programs the easiest way to do this is to go to the File > Save As menu. From there, Save as type: RTF or 97/2003 format. For Office 2007, Save as is found by by clicking the Office button.
